Added a page on verifying the agent's work
Verification now has its own stage in delivery, between building and validating.
- Chapter 3: The dev lifecycle3.3.3 VerifyCovers how an agent checks its own work before you see it, with end-to-end tests, property-based tests, fast feedback loops, and letting the agent drive your app.
- Chapter 2: Foundations2.3 The environmentNow outlines where agents run, locally or in the cloud, moved from Build.
- Chapter 3: The dev lifecycle3.3.2 BuildNow focuses on telling the agent how to build with Syllabus, formerly Code Rules, and hands verification to Verify.
- 3.3.1 PlanNow starts a checklist of what's must review, such as layers, data flows, schemas, and vocabulary, and what's nice to review, and shows a layer diagram for planning and PR reviews.
- 3.3.4 ValidateNow covers checks by something other than the implementing agent, such as you or a fresh reviewer agent, where Verify covers the agent checking itself, and reviewing decisions that departed from the design tree.
- Appendix A: ToolboxOverviewNow lists tools I need, starting with a test visualizer for reviewing the tests an agent proposes.

Updated Orchestration patterns with the chief of staff and factories
- Chapter 5: Orchestration5.3 Orchestration patternsNow outlines kicking off any work through a chief of staff, who captures it as a ticket to prioritize later or as work to start right away, and managing different work at once in factories, each defined as code.

Updated the hierarchy of bottlenecks with capacity and cognitive load
- Chapter 1: Introduction1.5 The hierarchy of bottlenecksNow has six bottlenecks, adding capacity, for when your machines and budget can't run more agents, and calling attention cognitive load. It retells The Goal more fully, adds a software example, and spells out the kinds of confidence verification needs.
- Chapter 3: The dev lifecycle3.1 SparkNow lists tools for turning an idea into a prototype.
- 3.3.2 BuildNow outlines building efficiently, doing verification well, and where agents run.

Published the first draft of the book
The book is live and written in public. Most pages are still outlines; these are drafted so far.
- Chapter 1: Introduction1.4 PrinciplesThe ideas that run through the whole book, starting with introspecting every agent session.
- 1.5 The hierarchy of bottlenecksThe order bottlenecks show up in, and why only the current one matters.
- 1.7 AttributionWhere the book's ideas come from, and how to flag one that needs credit.
- Chapter 3: The dev lifecycleOverviewThe stages everything you ship goes through, and which ones you can skip.
- 3.2 ShapeWorking out what to build and how, with real software instead of sketches.
- 3.2.2 DesignGetting in sync with your agent by letting it interview you.
- 3.3 DeliverTaking each slice of work from plan to production.
- Chapter 5: OrchestrationOverviewRunning many agents at once, and choosing when to look at them.
- 5.2 Human attention is the bottleneckWhy your one focus token limits how many agents you can run.
