Assemble your own
software factory.
Fabrica is a collection of open source tools and practices for building a modern software factory.
We build our own tools and also recommend select third-party tools.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Use it. Break it.
Make it better.
Use what fits. Fabrica is early and still evolving, but we use every tool on a regular basis to build a real product. Adopt the tools that help; skip the ones that don't.
Tell us how it works for you. Open a GitHub issue to share what's working, and what could be improved.
Contribute back. Send a pull request, publish a rule, or suggest a third-party tool we should be using.
Before Fabrica, I co-founded Gruntwork, which we bootstrapped (no investors, no debt) to over $5 million in annual recurring revenue. Gruntwork is the company behind Terragrunt and Terratest, and one of the founding companies of OpenTofu.
I love building useful software and great companies. I’ve launched several commercial products, and built multiple open source tools like Runbooks, Terratest, and now the tools above.
With Fabrica, I want to help others build software with an AI-native approach that makes the work dramatically more productive, and a lot more fun. I’m applying those lessons myself as I build Greenfield, a platform for running an AI-native small business.
